More than an exhibition center, Fonderie Darling is a veritable ecosystem combining production studios, artist residencies and educational spaces, open to the world thanks to the public square in front of its buildings. Today, this heritage site thrives on the support of its community, composed of donors, partners, cultural workers, friends, its public and, above all, the artists who continue to occupy the site and bring it to life. This campaign calls on the generosity of those who remain inhabited by their visits to Fonderie Darling, through encounters with the artworks on display, the discovery of new artists and experiences, appreciation of the architectural heritage, or a personal connection to the values of the organization.

OBJECTIVE

WHY SUPPORT FONDERIE DARLING?

Supporting Fonderie Darling means keeping our programming, complex operations, and architectural integrity secure. Your support means we can continue to nurture artists and bring the community together in a comfortable and professional environment.

WHAT WILL YOUR DONATION BE USED FOR?

Your donations, big or small, are essential to the operations of the organization and the realization of our mission. Thank you!

FIRST MAJOR CULTURAL DONATION?

You may be eligible for an additional 25% tax credit for your first major cultural donation if you meet the following criteria:

Applicable only once, the donation must be made by an individual other than a trust. The standard donation tax credit is approximately 50%, depending on the taxes you pay on your annual income. The additional credit, worth 25% of your donation, is added to this and reduces the actual amount disbursed as part of the donation to almost 75%.

*The 25% increase in the eligible amount applies only to a single major cultural donation made by an individual after July 3, 2013.

** This chart is for illustrative purposes only and is based on an annual income of less than $109,755. For incomes above $109,755, an additional tax abatement will be added to the provincial credit, and above $214,368, to the federal credit.

*** Seek expert advice: we encourage you to consult a specialized professional to ensure that your objectives take into account your profile, and that your decision is adapted to your financial and tax situation.
